Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade made an on-site visit to the training facility for students attending the Construction Skills Academy.  The visit included the Workforce Administrator for Economic Development, Robin Lovewell.  They heard about the program’s curriculum and student enrollment for the 8-week class.  Most importantly, the Mayor spent quality time speaking with students and answering questions.  The Mayor shared his background, discussed his first job, and gave the students a message of hope and opportunity.  

We are proud of the mission that Project Diakonia provides, and it is our contribution to allow our facility to be used for the industry to help set the course for the next generation of construction workers.
